This is full throttle white wine that pushes things to the limit and just manages to hold everything together. It is textural, heady and finishes with some lemon pulp. Dunno whether I’d want to drink too much of this but it worked pretty well with roast chook and tarragon butter and it is undoubtedly my 02 Vire-Clesse of the year thus far.
