Monday, December 13, 2010 - Decanted 3-1/2 hours and served with filet mignon w/black truffle butter. Dark purple and inky. Offere think rich blue and black fruit without heaviness. Structure on the acidic side but with a touch of fine tannins. finishes long and slightly sweet with mocha, vanilla, toast and a touch of mint. Good big stuff but not as explosive or complex as similarly styled Napas at the price point.
