I let it breathe for 45 minutes and drank over 2.5 hours. If you're looking for a rich and layered wine, with a long juicy finish, this is your bottle. The older Merus cabs are always that say. This wine still has lots of alcohol, but the tannin and acidity are well integrated at this point. Black raspberry, black licorice notes. As good on day 2.
