Thursday, November 10, 2022 - Tasted alongside the '95 and '97. Double decanted then left open for a couple of hours before consuming.

The most fruit-forward nose of the three by a wide margin. The fruit here skewed a little more towards red berries with plums and spice (pepper).

The fruit carries through on the palate with fennel and tobacco. The tannins and acid found in the '95 and '97 are still here, but the fruit relegates them to a lower register. To my palate, this was the best balanced wine at this stage in their evolution.

14.6% alcohol.
