Tuesday, January 5, 2021 - Dark inky purple core turning to ruby at the rim. The nose is similarly sinister with heady aromas of blackberry compote, charred meat, violets, forest floor, and lavender. The palate is rich, dense, and complex with dark berry fruit, soft sweet tannins, and earthy spicy undertones. This wine has aged beautifully and it still has tons of substance left, don't hesitate to age it for another ten years.
