Monday, May 23, 2022 - Purple and black fruits with big body. Tasted with friends next to Sloan 2013 and Matthew Dempsey Wines 2019 Cabernets. Of the three, this had great structure, dense fruit, and was the second favorite. Sweet tannins and round mouthfeel. Still young and punchy with concentration and structure. Long finish but a bit dry and chalky tannins. At 2 hrs decanting, it is still chewy and think a few more years will do it well.
