Sunday, June 14, 2009 - 2003 wasn't a particularly outstanding vintage, and I think this wine is reflective. Good, but not great. Deep purple in the glass, this Shiraz shows blackcurrant, cedar wood and tar characters on the nose. The palate shows dried plum, pencil shavings and slightly unbalanced tannins.
