Sunday, November 19, 2017 - Deep ruby red and completely coats the glass. A bit tight on the nose with cocoa powder, red plums and cherries. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. A bit of tobacco and smokiness on the palate, with some white pepper, black cherries, a little leather and earthy rounded mouthfeel. Dry and long finish with a bit of heat coming through. Give it some time to breathe. Drink till 2024.
