Wednesday, April 7, 2021 - Brewed with black strap molasses, licorice, with cherry bark and vanilla added. 21% aged in oak bourbon barrels, 8% aged in oak barrels, and 21% aged in oak wine barrels.

Opaque dark brown with minimal head.
Nose caramel and vanilla, a bit of a malty flavor.
Palate: initially a black coffee and dark chocolate flavor, some pronounced hoppy bitterness on finish. as it warms a more creamy chocolatey note, still a blackberry fruit note.

Very nice. Deep, pleasant to drink and would be sure to please those who love stouts. 92 pts
