Friday, May 12, 2017 - Tasted at Silver Oak today, nose of rich black cherry, earth, and spring flowers, same on the palate, medium/big body, slightly subdued tasting on the palate, needs 2 years to peak, already showing much better than the 2012, lacks the concentration and tannins of many wines from the 2013 vintage, tasty, medium/long finish. Blend is 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot.
