Tuesday, January 5, 2016 - Dark purple, semi opaque.Dark berries, woody, bacon, a dense nose, pepper. A very full mouthful, full of ripe fruit, heavy and long. Long taste. This is not a 'delicate' wine by any stretch of the imagination and was at the limit for drinking with a cassoulet without overpowering it.
This is drinking well now.
