Thursday, January 1, 2009 - A bit funky and backwards out of the bottle, dominated by strawberry, raspberry and green stems. This prompted a decant of an hour, which led to the disappearance of green and softening of the red fruits into a nice balance, rating a 92. However this sweet-spot was very short lived, and 2.5 hours after decanting the wine was flabby, with a faint nose and little backbone, giving way to the lower score.
