Not the best example of Aligote, probably because it was past its prime drinking window. Medium golden in the glass. Great aromatics of yellow apple, pear, citrus rind, gun flint. Light to medium body with a slightly creamy texture. Acidity, which should be naturally high in Aligote, seems to be dying down. It's present in the beginning, but as the wine approaches its aftertaste, there's nothing to be offered. Nose really promised a big PYCM wine, but unfortunately didn't deliver as I anticipated. Better luck next time I hope.
