Friday, August 23, 2019 - This wine performed so well that I almost forgot to take notes. Quite yellow in the glass. A small hint of petrol and smoke on the nose but not that much, actually. Tropical fruit, white flowers, wet rocks, black tea, and mint - mix these things and add ice cubes. On the palate, it has acidity like an orange, white grape, or pineapple. So well balanced, great minerality, and a long, long finish. The best from Dönnhoff for me so far even though it's still quite primary. Yummy!
