Friday, July 22, 2022 - Four years since I last had this. Approaching maturity. Yellow gold, ripe nose, yellow fruits. Medium sweet, rich and ripe. Moderate intensity. I think with a few more years it will lose some of its sweetness and show great intensity. Lovely now but still more to give. No rush.

7/22/2022 5:43:00 PM - I totally agreed with your tasting note!
I’m tasting it NOW as I write this comment. In fact, I’ve just tasted through a trio of 2005 Dönnhoff Riesling Spätlese (Kirschheck, Brücke, & Hermannshöhle) to be served tomorrow. Hopefully 24 hours of aeration in the bottle will bring forth even more pleasure.
