Monday, July 11, 2022 - This is visually clearly the palest rendition of any wine chez CLB and here too almost transculent brown red tones. Hauntingly smokey nose upon pop and pour, wild forst strawberries, touch of rose hip. A very mineral expression in the mouth, with lovely acidity, quite sauvage and hauntingly long finish, crazy to think this is a 14 village level. A total heart wine, somehow makes me think this is how autumn would taste like if it could be bottled - well maybe it has.
