Friday, August 4, 2023 - Lovely floral aromas of red berries and hints of wood and smoke, clear light ruby red color, all leading in to a palate of integrated fresh raspberry and dark cherry flavors, subtle hints of wood and earth, and amazingly refined tannins. Satisfying finish echoing the subtle berry flavors and a very subtle hint of earthiness. Wonderful integration of all the elements, wish I had more in my cellar. Excellent now, probably great for another year. Served with charcoal grilled coho salmon with a rub of brown sugar, smoked paprika, and cumin. Delicious!!!
