Monday, February 15, 2016 - A little chocolatey at first. Really gets going after an hour in the decanter. There's leather, sweet tobacco, cured meats and tar. It is all savoury on the palate with chewy structure and a whip of crisp acidity at the end. The last glass was the best and I wish we had decanted for a lot longer. It had a beautiful core of sweet cherries and wonderful perfume.
