91 Points

Saturday, July 15, 2017 - A blend of Furmint (85%) and Chardonnay (15%), bottle-aged with the lees at least 22 months, dosage 10 g/l.

Luminous lime green color. Aromatic and somewhat sweet nose with aromas of some toasty autolysis, ripe red apples, some crème à la vanille, a little bit of sweet citrus fruits, a hint of stony minerality and a touch of yeasty French bread. Ripe and pretty dry on the palate with quite full body and some sense of weight. Rather straightforward flavors of fresh apples, rough stony minerality, some white fruits, a hint of creaminess and some waxy character and a touch of greengage. Good acid structure giving the wine nice focus and freshness with quite big and robust mousse. The finish is crisp and quite ripe with long and intense flavors mealy apples, some yeasty French bread, a little bit of tropical fruits and a hint of nutty autolysis.

Pretty consistent with the last bottle I had. Very nice and great value at 12€.
