Friday, February 19, 2021 - The Reuling Vineyard wines produced by Matt Taylor were fleeting...only 3 years or so from 2012-14, I believe. The wines released in-house never achieved the level of acclaim as the Aubert Chardonnay’s as the two were made in different styles. Taylor strove for a more Burgundian approach which for this bottle he achieved success. Gracious, mid weight, with plenty of tropical fruit notes and a satisfying finish. Actually quite sturdy tonight but probably would drink the rest of my bottles over the next couple of years as some prior bottles have shown their age/oxidation
