Monday, October 24, 2016 - My date window on this wine says wait 1-2 years, but sometimes I'm like a kid on Christmas, just gotta open something. So I did. Very fruity and drinkable upon opening. Loads of dark fruit and smoke on the nose. The fruit continued on the palate, not much pepper if any, decent balance mid-palate, loooonnngg finish with tar and some bitterness. I like it. And I promise to be more patient with the other bottles.
