Sunday, September 25, 2022 - Liked it, but never really put on weight over the hours. Great acidity, red cherry, mushroom balsamic and some earth notes…. Just needed to fill out some on the mid palate, and perhaps lose a bit more of the typical old funk I get on opening these aged barolos (even after 5 hours, it still had a bit much). Next time I would try opening in the morning and letting it sit all day.
