Monday, June 28, 2021 - Second bottle of this, much better than the first. At the pnp, significant bricking noted but classic cab nose and flavor profile....a hint of terriyaki and toffee notes on the nose and the palate. The fruit is still strong and deep and dense...best at 1-2 hours open, it falls apart a bit at hour 4 and its good points fade some. This is a very nice wine, but as noted with my two bottles 6 months apart, they are very different. This is transitioning toward its end point. I'd drink them if you have them. Not sure where this one goes as it ages.....better? Or worse?
