Friday, July 7, 2017 - Fun blind tasting of Napa Valley Cabernets, we decided to choose two from 2011 while my Dad selected two different vintages of Caymus Special Selection.

Deep ruby core with garnet edges. A touch stinky ok the nose straight from the bottle, light dark fruits, and sweet spices. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Dark palate with dark cocoa, dark fruits, plums, cassis, gunpowder and vanilla. Long finish. Drink till 2025. (92+)
