Wednesday, December 26, 2012 - Not as complex as the very best bottle, but still a nice started that would have been a good match for our scallops (finished the bottle before we started to cook). There is a slight golden tinge to the colour, that is the only sign of any aging. Its medium bodied, with good refreshing acidity, green melon, a touch ot tropical fruit and a hint of ginger on the finish. While its lasted well and will continue to go on, I don't think its going to develop into anything really interesting. Very nice change though from White Burgs and White Bordeaux.
