Wednesday, October 15, 2008 - Beautiful crystal pomegranate-purple color. Generous, pure nose of red fruit and graham cracker. Chewy red fruit, wood, and roasted notes, perfect balance. Excellent ripeness, almost jammy, without heat or flabbiness. Elegant but powerful, a bit linear now, a few years age should add some complexity.
