Friday, June 11, 2021 - Rich, full-bodied with flavors of red fruits, blackberries, raspberries, and herbal notes including sage on the nose. Slightly acidic. Since we write historicals I’ve long wanted to try something made similarly to Ancient Greek or Roman wines. This wine is amongst the oldest wines in the world (though not this particular bottle, of course) so drinking it is like drinking with Thucydides. We raised a toast to our wise ancestors!
