Saturday, May 19, 2018 - The 2014 Rafanelli Zin is dark red to violet in color and its nose is appealing to the senses with flavors of blackberry, black cherry and spicy plum. The palate is chewy with tart black fruit, mocha and chocolate. The wine has a strong finish with firm tannins and an oaky taste. As many Rafanelli Zins, this wine also features delicious jammy berry fruit and a spicy core, which will likely continue to develop depth and complexity as it ages.
