Saturday, February 13, 2010 - Dark and very tannic but big-scaled. Kind of monolithic now but possesses a lot of material. It improved, although stubbornly, after a 2-hr decant. Seems to need a load of time but the tannins are a touch green which is a concern. Reminds me of the '86 although even that wine was never this closed and non-forgiving. We'll see. 88+
