The color was rich and a purple hue Over the afternoon, I refunneled between the bottle and decanter several times. At 7pm the wine was still rather muted but gave some elements of spice and graphite. The tannins are prominant and the oak seemed balanced. I look forward to trying this again in 8-10 years as their is plenty of upside at maturity.
