Monday, April 11, 2016 - The second wine, which I brought back from the Don Valley appellation. Ruby color with a purple hue. The aroma is quite spirituose at first. Give it a breath for 15 minutes and everything comes back to normal. Black pepper, dried black berries, hawthorn and chokeberry. Medium body. On the palate: dusty ground, pickled dogwood berries and dark berries. The tannins are not aggressive. In general, smooth wine, but it lacks the "wow effect".
