Saturday, March 21, 2020 - Deep purple color in the glass. Aromas of dark, dry fruit — blackberries, black currants, figs — and smoke. Rich flavors of black currants, figs, wood smoke, and black pepper. Good structure, controlled tannins, balanced with alcohol. Overall a very tasty wine to accompany Italian or similarly acidic and spicy foods.
