98 Points

Saturday, September 3, 2016 - Tasted after Brunnenhäuschen GG. On the nose yellow stone fruit, herbs, crushed stones. Lots of depth. I scribbled down "power" 3 or 4 times in my tasting note even after the already quite muscular Brunnenhäuschen. Very focussed and precise, slightly chalky, fresh, mineral with amazing purity of fruit. The way it builds up to an incredibly intense and persistent finish is breathtaking. Absolutely fantastic. 97-98+
