Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - (Mostly) reds at Salil's (Vernon, CT): The fruit here still seems youthful, with fresh apple, pear and peach notes. While there were no "baked fruit" notes that I sometimes get from older Rieslings, it is starting to develop a bit of that "petrol" thing. Fresh, lacy and clean, but almost too polite, with only medium acidity.
