Thursday, October 17, 2013 - Had with snacks (guac, salsa, etc.). 20 minute decant.Ripe raspberries, black cherry and hints of licorice. Amazingly soft. All tannins are completely blunted and subtle. All the fruits don't really follow through on the palate but there is a bright currant that saunters along on the tongue like it is killing time before a late afternoon nap. Thick mouth feel. This was spectacular before now it has mellowed into a best friend. Definitely time to enjoy this friend before he moves on.
