Saturday, January 6, 2024 - Albino memorial tasting. Had this bottle almost 25 years ago at David’s Quintarelli vertical. Not much change since then! Crimson in colour, monumental structure, extremely concentrated.
On the nose figs, raisins, assam tea and red clay. Harmonious texture with ripe tannins and additional aromas of kirsch, plums & prunes beeswax and a touch of marzipan.
On the finish a bit of red bell pepper. 14.5% rel.alc.
