Thursday, February 8, 2024 - Gorgeous nose, floral and leathery, olives, delicately meaty, dried fruits... meaty and earthy, tannins resolved, tangy acids, not especially gratifying on the palate, but lots of classic Syrah character, a pleasure to drink. Have it with fatty lamb. Probably best in the next 5 years, might have been better a few years ago, based on this showing I wouldn't push this long in the cellar.
