Friday, June 18, 2021 - Fresh (still!) aromas of cranberry, red plum, raspberry, cinnamon (a major note, reminds me of a donut or churro), allspice, mint, rhubarb, cola. Maybe a wee whiff of caraway seed or dill? Blood orange? This is so deft and light on its feet. I’m not getting any dark fruit. Develops a pipe tobacco vibe with time in glass. Crystalline, buoyant fruit and fresh but not harsh acidity. Sweet fine tannins. Although one might have consumed this sooner, it’s held up remarkably well.
