Friday, July 20, 2012 - Better than bottle consumed last year in terms of no brett, no heat, and more structural tannin. Still, this is relatively low acid and this bottle didn't show as much complexity as the previous flashed off and on. As other notes imply, this is asleep right now, and drinks best after a long decant or if consumed over several days. Even when this finally came out of its shell near the end of the second day, it did not come across as a 'wow' wine, but if you like your Pegau like me you should probably hold another 3-5 years before consuming.
