Sunday, June 4, 2023 - A glorious wine. Bought a half a dozen plus 5 years ago at $23 a bottle. Great buy. James Halliday says it will improve until 2038 giving the wine a 25 year hold. I think he was right although others disagreed at the time. Winefront says drink by 2021. The wine was delicious. Lots a red fruit, berries and underlying chocolate. Light oak and some tannins adding interest. A rich red wine with cassis and light smokey oak. Really good. Had with rare roasted rack of lamb.
