Monday, June 2, 2008 - 100% Marsanne and a heckuva wine. Gold in the glass, with a rich nose of honeycomb, banana, baked apple, and lemon. Full-bodied yet neither viscous nor waxy, with a great presence at the midpalate and an acidity that purrs throughout the long finish. The soft brown spices, marked by coriander in particular, are beautiful. Excellent with grilled halibut. I'd love to see what becomes of this wine in two years.
