Monday, January 15, 2024 - One of my favorite wines from the 2014 vintage. The color is more dark reddish purple color with a lively aromatic nose. On the palate, a little repressed until it gets some air. After a short decant this wine is open for business in a very good way. I side with James Suckling in his assessment of this delightful nectar: Lovely balance and rich but not overly so. There's firm and silky tannins and a fresh and continuous backbone. Medium to full body dominated by black cherry and dark berry fruits and some oak and spice. 94+/ 95 solid points.
