Saturday, September 10, 2022 - Oddero's 2013 Gallina is a super classic, young Barbaresco. Yet, it has lot of appeal already, as the tannin is fine and the fruit crisp and rather bright, showing rose petal, some purplish florals, wild strawberries, dollops of candied red fruits, mild spicyness and a savory mineral undertone. Elegant and with leading sinewy muscles and agility, this appears to be a dancer. A really gorgeous Barbaresco to adore vintage after vintage.
