Sunday, March 26, 2023 - Great stuff - exactly what you’d expect from Pichon Lalande - plenty of soft sous bois notes, tobacco, cassis and great medium body finish. I prefer this over the 1996 at current status (the 96 is a bit too pyrazine-heavy for me). Really nothing wrong here - even had some magical element at the beginning that faded a bit over time. These bottles are why we drink wine.
