Sunday, May 29, 2011 - Gorgeous bouquet, showing quince, grapefruit, and garden flowers. Lovely right now, although still very much in its infancy. Quince and ripe pink grapefruit dominate the palate, with accents of honey and wildflowers. I love the sugar level here, just enough to make you want more, and it dissipates along the mid, only to return on the finish as freshly squeezed oranges. Grapefruit and limestone complete the long finish. Excellent balance and bright acidity.
