Wednesday, May 31, 2017 - in a great place. Medium ruby color. Initial nose jumps out of the glass with red berries, truffle, and hint of tea and spice. Medium bodied on the palate with vibrant red fruit balanced by a cinnamon spice and a touch of earthiness. The finish is very long with both acidity and tannins there in spades. Just starting to show secondary notes but fruit is still present, will easily age for 5-10 yrs based on the finish,but wonderful now.
