Tuesday, July 24, 2018 - 375ml bottle off the wine list over dinner at Otto. Pop and poured.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of perfumed floral violets, red cherries, sandy earth, iron ore minerality. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), soft and supple medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet dark red cherries, ripe strawberries, sour red cherries, earth, sweet spice. Medium+ finish.
Very good quality. Elegant perfumy Nebbiolo that goes down very well. Already in drinking window in the small format.
Single vineyard. Spends at least 15 months in 30hectolitre barrels and in used small barrels.
