Monday, May 25, 2020 - Floral scent. On the palate, pineapple, pear, dried apple, flowers, hay, fig, almond, bergamot, with a lemon peel, orange peel, stony, mineraly finish. I little too much citrus and it feels too tannic to me. Maybe some more time? Also, over-ripe fruit flavors (I thought the same thing when I drank the 2005). Very good, but I liked the Rollin Pernand Vergelesses Bourgogne Blanc (from the same vintage) a little better. I felt like that wine was a better match with the food, while this one overpowered things a little. I was hoping for more.
