Fully mature, smoky with hints of barbeque sauce and smoke on nose. The palate showed a decent amount of fruit, some cooked raspberry most notably. The palate was suave and really needed no food to make it enjoyable. Stay away from strong spices and cayenne with this wine as to enjoy it's delicacy. There was a bit of dark chocolate, chocolate powder here. That was even more evident when I had a piece of quality dark chocolate later in the evening.
