Monday, July 4, 2022 - Pretty much a pop&pour with a very quick decant. Dark purple hue, dark berry jam and brambly on the nose and palate with significant hit of oak with some dark chocolate and florals bringing up the rear. Full bodied and big with a medium finish and some high ETOH which brings it out of balance a bit. Would have garnered more points with a longer decant to blow of the alcohol. Drinking well now but could use another year or two. Drink or hold.
